Custom Godox Repair Request
This service is for a Godox or Flashpoint product with a problem that is not covered by one of our standard, fixed-price repair options.
Please contact MoLight before ordering. Describe the product, the problem and any troubleshooting you have already performed. We will confirm whether the item is something we can repair.
The initial $50 payment is applied toward the total repair cost. This is not a fixed-price repair, and additional payment will normally be required.
This service may be appropriate for:
- An unusual electrical or operational problem
- Damage involving more than one component
- Exterior housing or mounting damage
- A repair that is not listed elsewhere in our Repairs collection
- A product MoLight has asked you to submit for inspection
- A repair that does not fit after you have utilized our repair diagnosis page
What the initial payment includes
- Inspection and diagnosis of the submitted product
- An explanation of the problem when it can be identified
- A repair estimate when the product can be repaired
- Application of the initial payment toward the approved repair total
Estimate and payment process
After inspecting the product, we will contact you with our diagnosis and the estimated total repair cost.
- If you approve the repair, we will send an invoice for the remaining balance.
- The repaired product will be returned after the final invoice has been paid.
- If the product cannot be repaired, or if you cancel the service after diagnostic work has begun, your payment will be refunded less a $30 diagnostic and labor fee and the cost of return shipping.
Any completed repair includes a repair report and a six-month warranty covering the specific components repaired or replaced.
What to send
Unless MoLight provides different instructions, send only the product requiring repair.
- Remove detachable batteries whenever possible
- Remove detachable flash heads from AD200-series flashes
- Do not send chargers, cases, modifiers or unrelated accessories
- Include an accessory only when it is necessary to demonstrate the problem
Pack the product securely and use a shipping service that provides tracking. You are responsible for shipping the product to MoLight. Return shipping will be deducted from your initial payment or included in the final repair invoice, as applicable.

Repair turnaround
Custom repairs generally require more diagnostic time than standard repairs. Turnaround begins when your product arrives at MoLight. Please review the current Repair Queue Status on the main repairs page before ordering.
We will contact you when the diagnosis is complete, if additional information is required, or if we discover a problem that cannot be repaired.
