How powerful is the Godox AD200Pro II?
The AD200Pro II produces 200 watt-seconds (Ws) of maximum flash power.
Its output can be adjusted across a 10-stop range from 1/512 to full power in 0.1-stop increments, giving photographers both useful maximum output and very precise control at lower settings.
How many full-power flashes does the AD200Pro II provide?
Godox rates the AD200Pro II at approximately 500 full-power flashes per battery charge.
Actual battery life will vary depending on power settings, modeling-light use, temperature, battery condition and shooting habits. Since most photographers don't shoot every image at full power, real-world capacity can be considerably greater.
How fast does the AD200Pro II recycle?
Godox specifies an approximate recycle range of 0.01 to 1.8 seconds, depending on flash power.
The AD200Pro II also includes a port for connecting the optional PB960 power pack when faster recycling is important during demanding, high-volume shooting.
Does the AD200Pro II support TTL and High-Speed Sync?
Yes. The AD200Pro II supports TTL automatic flash exposure with compatible camera systems and High-Speed Sync at shutter speeds up to 1/8000 second when used with the appropriate Godox transmitter.
Does the AD200Pro II have a modeling light?

Can I use Bowens-mount softboxes with the AD200Pro II?
Yes. Accessories such as the Godox S3 Bowens Adapter allow the AD200Pro II to be used with compatible Bowens-mount modifiers.
This opens the door to a very large selection of softboxes, beauty dishes and other Bowens-mount lighting tools.
Can I use accessories from my original AD200 or AD200Pro with the AD200Pro II?
Many existing AD200-series accessories remain compatible with the AD200Pro II, including products such as the AD-B2 dual bracket, H200R round head and R200 ring flash head.
However, not every accessory or adapter works identically with the redesigned AD200Pro II heads. If you're upgrading from an earlier AD200 and aren't sure whether a particular accessory will work, contact MoLight before replacing something you may already be able to use.
Is the AD200Pro II a good first off-camera flash?
For many photographers, yes.
The AD200Pro II offers substantially more versatility than a conventional speedlight while remaining small and portable. Its 200Ws output, interchangeable heads, TTL, HSS, rechargeable battery and extensive accessory system also give photographers plenty of room to grow.
If you expect to regularly battle strong sunlight with larger modifiers, however, you may be better served by an AD300Pro II, AD400Pro II or larger flash.
Can I use multiple AD200Pro II flashes together?
Absolutely. The AD200Pro II's compact size makes it particularly attractive for multi-light setups.
Multiple units can be assigned to different groups and controlled remotely through a compatible Godox X-system transmitter. The system supports 16 receiver groups, making it capable of handling much more sophisticated setups than most photographers will ever need.
