There's nothing worse than having a fancy new flash and NO GOOD WAY to attach it to a lightstand. Other folks have been making their cold shoes out of metal (bad) or with thumbscrews to tighten (always loosen up). The metal shoes can short out your contacts on your flash, and the thumbscrew is all that stands between you and the fancy new flash falling off of your stand.
Here's the MoLight Locking Cold Shoe to the rescue! Featuring a standard 1/4-20 threaded port on the bottom, this shoe will mount to most light stands. But the two best features are: it is made out of a durable composite plastic that makes it lightweight and tough at the same time; and, then spring-loaded tension back stop makes sure your flash will NEVER slide off the shoe. When you do want to remove your flash, simply press the side release and slide your flash off the shoe...super easy!
We bundle this little babies in packs of two because having one is simply not enough. You'll want more!
