AD400Pro and AD600Pro Battery Reset and Reconditioning

If your AD400Pro or AD600Pro battery will no longer take a charge, never fear! We can typically reset and recondition it to work like new. This covers all versions of the Godox and Flashpoint batteries specifically for the AD400Pro and AD600Pro.

Lithium-ion batteries have wonderful qualities, but their weaknesses are that they (a) do not react well to being fully drained and (b) do not react well to being stored for long periods while mostly or fully drained. If the voltage in the battery drops too low, it can go dormant and will no longer take a normal charge. But there is hope! You can ship it to us and we will reset it to take a charge, trickle charge it, using our professional bench DC power supply, and then fully charge it back to normal operating mode, saving you the cost of purchasing a new battery. :)

To expedite the process, please add this repair to the cart, checkout, and prepay for the service. That way we can do the repair as soon as we are able and ship it out right away. If for some reason we are unable to resuscitate your battery, we can offer you a $20 credit towards the purchase of a new battery, or simply refund your repair cost less a $10 fee for labor and a $9 recycling/disposal fee for the battery. If you wish to have the dead battery shipped back it will just be the cost of shipping plus the $10 fee for the attempted repair. The remainder will be credited back to you.

NOTE: THIS SERVICE IS FOR THE PRO BATTERIES FOR THE AD600PRO AND AD400PRO ONLY. IT DOES NOT COVER THE WB87 BATTERY FOR THE STANDARD AD600B AND AD600BM. THERE CURRENTLY IS NOT A WAY TO RECONDITION THIS PARTICULAR BATTERY.

NOTE #2: Before you ship your battery, please perform this test: on the top of the battery is a little inset button along with three small lights (you can see it in the photo above). This is your battery "fuel gauge". Press the inset button. If all three lights light up green then your battery has a more serious issue with the main board and it cannot be fixed by us. If no lights light up then it is most likely a good candidate for our reset and recondition service and it is okay to ship to us.

Battery repairs are warranted for 6 months.

How to order:

  1. Copy this shipping address down. This is where to ship your battery:

  2. Add the repair to your shopping cart and then checkout and pay for the repair. This will put your repair into our queue.
  3. Once you have paid you will receive an email with your six-digit order confirmation number. Print that out and include it in the box with your battery.
  4. Ship your battery to us. Wrap it in bubble wrap or safely cushion it. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs to the battery on its way to us, so make sure that it is well protected. Ship it using a service with tracking, like UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or USPS Priority Mail. Please note that it will typically take 2-4 business days to arrive to us once you have shipped it. If you are concerned about if it arrived, use your tracking number to check. We do not contact you to let you know we received it.
  5. Please allow up to 1 week for us to complete your repair after it arrives. We try to be efficient as possible because of the high volume of repairs we receive. Once we start your repair, we complete your repair. If we encounter any issues, we will contact you. Otherwise, we do not reach out to you unnecessarily during the repair process. We keep our heads down and finish the repair, then ship it out the next business day after completion.
  6. We ask that you please avoid phone calls and emails asking us if we got the repair, or how the repair is going. That's our #1 source of calls, and it pulls time away from actually getting the repairs done. It is our goal to get your repair done as soon as possible and move onto the next repair.

The shipment charge for your order covers the return shipping from MoLight to you. You still will need to cover the shipping cost for shipping the flash to Molight.
