Finally, there is a rolling studio stand that can fit in ANY room and work for virtually any photographer – the MoPro Rolling Studio Stand!
We spoke with professional photographers and asked them what they wanted in a rolling studio stand. Here’s what we learned. They want:
An adjustable sliding pistol grip that will allow them to lower a light to the floor, or up high enough to create flattering lighting patterns like butterfly and Rembrandt on a standing subject.
A reversible spigot to fit both ¼ 20 and ⅜” ports, AND a flattened side for more securely attaching lights.
An adjustable center column height that will work in both high-ceilinged studios and standard 8-foot rooms.
A wide base to provide maximum stability.
Easy-rolling wheels to make it effortless to position the stand anywhere in the studio, and a lock on the wheels to keep the stand in place.
A camera plate that fits into the spigot hole to make it simple to attach a ball head or any other head attachment for your camera.
Folding legs and a deconstructable center column to allow the stand to fit in as little as 25” of space when traveling or put into storage.
Last but not least, a SECOND pistol grip to hold a reflector, a second light, a laptop table, or any other accessory.
We listened, got to work, and created the MoPro Studio Stand…the first stand that CHECKS ALL OF THE BOXES!
Easy to Assemble The MoPro assembles in a few short minutes. Unfold the legs, screw on the wheels, connect the center column sections, slide on the pistol grips…done! You are ready to literally roll.
Different Height Configurations Use all four sections to extend up to 98”. Remove one section to get 75.5”. Remove one more and drop down to 52”. Remove one more section, and your MoPro is just 28.5” high.
Handles the Weight The MoPro can handle the weight demands of the professional photography studio. We have used the MoPro with a large strobe and 60” SNAP Octasoft. No problem. Michael has the 48lb KNOWLED F600Bi 4’x4’ LED Panel on a MoPro in his studio all the time. No problem. Plus the 42” diameter footprint of the MoPro provides a very stable base. It is also easy to add a couple of sandbags to the legs for extra stability.
Portability Want to take your MoPro on location? Unscrew the center column sections and fold up the legs; the stand can now fit into a bag or case that is just 25” in length. This makes the MoPro ideal for volume studios that photograph schools and teams.
Bonuses! We include a SECOND pistol grip as well as a camera plate. Use the second grip arm for another light, a reflector, to hold your camera, to attach a laptop table – anything that will attach to the ¼ 20 or ⅜” spigots.
