And now with the introduction of the SMDV Flip24G Speedbox, your have the perfect magnetic mount softbox to use with your V1. You can pair the V1 with an optional S2 Adapter to fit ANY Bowens mount modifier. And of course, you can use the V1 in your camera's hotshoe just like any other speedlight.

RECHARGEABLE LITHIUM-ION BATTERY

The V1 comes with an advanced lithium-ion battery that has been designed for performance, making it more reliable than ever when shooting on location. The battery is loaded into the back of the unit to keep it super compact due to its small size, while still offering a recycle time of just 0.01-1.5s with up to approximately 480 full power flashes.
