Just swap in the XTR16s clip-in receiver for the old FT16s receiver and you can now use the wonderful new X1 transmitter with your legacy flashes. This gives you the ability to blend your old flashes with the exciting new AD360II and TT685 TTL flashes that have built in receivers.

The X1 transmitter also sends HSS timing to the XTR16s receiver, so you can use the X1 transmitter (sold separately) for everything: triggering your flashes, controlling the power up and down in manual mode, and sending HSS information to your flash. You do still need to enable HSS on your flash for this to work.
